Today I was so very lucky to meet a brand new little guy and his sweet sister. Today’s shoots were actually commissioned by a local business and so each little person had their own separate session in order to get the shots we needed. In any case, I love meeting the people I do and love the different ways things seem to fall together. I know I have said it so many times, but I seriously have the coolest job in the world!!

I was so lucky to photograph this beautiful family last weekend! It was our second try as my poor camera (also known as the 4th child!) suffered a fairly catastrophic failure the first time we met. Ouch. It was worth the wait though and it was so difficult to choose just a couple of images for this teaser! Thanks for a wonderful session!

This week has been marked by the awesomeness that is my postie knocking on my door not once, not twice but THREE times this week with parcels for MEEEEEE!! Why blog about it?? Well I’m excited and presents are good. AND it is the start of my OCF journey. OCF stands for Off Camera Flash and this week I got my reflective brolly and radio triggers which means I can use artificial light anywhere, any time and produce gorgeous portraits wherever I am! Here is the first of many; I am beyond excited to be adding another string to my bow!!
I would like to take a few lines to wish everyone a happy Christmas and safe and prosperous 2010. How FAST did this year zoom by??? Thanks to all my clients and colleagues for your support this year and I am looking forward to more of the same next year – that is great photos of beautiful kids and their families!! As for my family, here is a quick snap of my oldest 2 with their Nanny this past weekend at my sister’s wedding. You want festive?? Here ya go!
I could stare back at those eyes all day! These brothers are destined to be heartbreakers 
One of my most favourite little models came to see me this week for a special Christmas session. As always, I brought the camera, she brought the super-cute and together we made magic!! After seeing these pics you might assume we are closing in on Christmas… however, this little Christmas Pixie is the daughter of a Christmas-o-holic so there’s no need to panic yet. There are still a few weeks left to pull your act together!!
It’s such a rare thing for my youngest to let me set up my gear and then get in there and look at the camera for me! Of course she would only do the poses *she* thought were pretty but in the end it seems she was right and this is the result I just received this print as 14×20 inch artbloc and am so happy with it!
I couldn’t resist posting this photo – I love it. I think I might need to put this one on canvas myself. BIG canvas!!
I had the sweetest day with this little guy
This was taken as the clouds rolled over the ridge of the second row of mountains that runs parallel to the coast. We got ready under cover then ran outside for a couple of shots then ran back to get dry again! It turned out exactly the way I wanted it to
