Well I know I promised to post last week but I promise this was worth waiting for!

I am so excited to be able to offer families on the Gold Coast and Brisbane the opportunity to have beautiful outdoor portraits done quickly and painlessly and inexpensively this October!

In collaboration with Melbourne’s Anna B Photography I can now share the details of our Christmas marathon which is offering unrivalled AWESOMENESS in time for Christmas!

As someone who has lived on the coast for many years, there is one sad thing many of us have in common: our families live elseware. BUT! Not to despair! This year you can get both your yearly family portraits AND your Christmas cards dealt with in one fell swoop. I am about nothing if not multitasking and convenience!

With your mini session you can choose either 20 6×4 folded Christmas cards, 40 flat 6×4 Christmas cards OR if you would rahter something more, well, gifty, you can choose two mini accordian albums!

Here are the card designs you can choose from:

And here are what the mini accordian albums look like. They are imported directly from the USA and are not available in Australia unless your photographer has made the effort to find them and bring them over! They are 3″x3″ and are perfect as brag books for grandparents, aunt, uncles and god parents as they fit easily in pockets and bags. They also display nicely on your desk at work! (Please excuse my product photography!)

And finally, this is the card I will scattering all over the Gold Coast over the next couple of days!

mini sessions draft 6

If you can’t make this date, this offer will be available from now until mid October where you can get together 4 paying families at one time and at one location. Availablity is extremely limited so please email ASAP to book your session! A 50% deposit is required to confirm your slot on the day.

Apologies for being a bad blogger! Our world has been tipped on it’s side with my hubster heading off on a loooong business trip and we are still wobbling a bit lol!! Unfortunately the only photography I have been doing has been on the editing/ordering/print side. After I finished up checking and packaging a couple of orders yesterday I thought I’d do something COMPLETELY different. I busted out the camera for some silly, non-portrait snap shots of my two younger girls! I know! Shocking! Any photographer will tell you that their own kids develop such a fear – or perhaps it is more a contempt of the camera – that even snapshots are hard to get. SO I got lots of funny, silly photos but there was one that as a mum I was so pleased with that I wanted to share it here. Portraits are lovely – clean faces, pretty clothes, lovely settings and backgrounds – and they can certainly capture the essence of a person. But then there is the other side where people are just doing their thing without getting all gussied up which rounds out a person’s photographic personality. So excuse the milo on the face, the lippy *around* the mouth rather than on the lips – this is how my girls roll 95% of the time! Brenda, I hope you like!!!!
