Today I was so very lucky to meet a brand new little guy and his sweet sister. Today’s shoots were actually commissioned by a local business and so each little person had their own separate session in order to get the shots we needed. In any case, I love meeting the people I do and love the different ways things seem to fall together. I know I have said it so many times, but I seriously have the coolest job in the world!!
Here are the stars of the day!
Last week I had the honour of meeting this little guy. I’ve met a lot of babies and it constantly amazes me how distinct their personalities are. Those first days truly tell you the pure basis of everything that little human will become. This handsome young gent was awake AND happy for almost the entire session. In my game, awake will equal fussy 99% of the time. Not in this case. I also believe that not all baby smiles are gas…it’s just what your face does when life rocks!!
This little man was in fact the biggest newborn I have ever met! And he was mellow and even a little bit smiley for me. As the youngest of four, I think his laid back style will help him chill out in the eye of the storm 
It was a fun morning hanging out with his mum and aunty and can’t wait to catch up again soon!
There’s no point in gushing because quite frankly when a family brings the gorgeous like this, I could go on all day. And anyway, we all know that old saying about pictures and words. I’m probably just holding things up for you. Without further delay, meet little K and her Mummy and Daddy!
I am so happy to finally share the ‘real’ version of the photo featured in my last post and the storyboard that goes with it. These photos were taken as a gift for the girls’ Nanna and I couldn’t share until they had been given to her!

I am often asked why I don’t hand over all the photos I take in a session… there are lots of reasons, but mostly, it’s because I figure you didn’t really need to see one like this!

I would like to take a few lines to wish everyone a happy Christmas and safe and prosperous 2010. How FAST did this year zoom by??? Thanks to all my clients and colleagues for your support this year and I am looking forward to more of the same next year – that is great photos of beautiful kids and their families!! As for my family, here is a quick snap of my oldest 2 with their Nanny this past weekend at my sister’s wedding. You want festive?? Here ya go!
What can I say – this little man is the source of smiles! Fromthe moment I met him and now as I edit his photos, I am smiling at him! Such a sweet, cruisey boy with a fan club living right at home with him! Thanks so much to his mum and dad for contacting me and setting up our shoot – here is your preview!
